Radio Control model Airplane Field - There’s a Radio Control Squadron model airplane field in Rothenback Park at the East end of Bee Ridge Road 3 miles east of I-75 off Exit 207. The event is FREE to the public and features Large radio controlled Model Airplanes that must have wing spans of 80 inches or larger. There’s a concession stand with food and drinks, porta-potties and sun shelters. The field is handicap friendly and you should bring a lawn chair, sunscreen and camera. There is a nominal fee for parking.

Sculling - Competitive rowing is one of the hottest amateur sports in the country and Sarasota County’s Nathan Benderson Park is quickly gaining a stellar reputation.
